You see me smile in the mirror and think, “She has no fear.”
You see me keep my head up and do not know I am fed up,
But when you see me cry,
You wonder, “Does she want to die?”
And when I lay my head on my desk and do not finish the test,
You wonder, “Is her life a mess?”
You see me stare at the wall, wishing it would fall,
Yet all I think is, “Do you understand me at all?”
