What Really Defines Beauty?”

Beauty has changed throughout the age,
different ideas emerging,
that now have become our cage.

None of us fight, instead we give this beauty undeserved praise.
We slowly become what others think we should be.
Beauty has changed throughout the age.

No one speaks out or fights the expected ways
and we do not question rights or wrongs,
that now have become our cage.

I do not know what needs to change,
our actions, our words, or our thoughts.
Beauty has changed throughout the age.

Where the art and music of past days
are fading into nothing but dust and memories,
that now have become our cage.

The true meaning of beauty is gone.
We have abandoned a part of our soul.
Beauty has changed throughout the age,
that now is our cage.
