When I talk about how my cousin Res grew up,
that was a life

But after he got shot twice
that was his life
I think about him every day of my life

He showed me what is real
Life isn’t easy, he said, so think about the positives
But I didn’t think about it twice
As a rapper, music was his life
And for being positive, he paid the price

It happened in two seconds

The bullet hit him like white on rice
