"When the Shadows Fall"

     When the shadows fall,
nothing will be left at all. 

      The ruins of our present day,
seemed to be perfect in every way. 

      Poison and dread filled the air,
but nobody seemed to care. 

      The majority cared only for their gain,
in reality, it was in vain. 

      Only the minority truly care,
only they will truly dare. 

      These lives take a nasty pound,
ending up on the painful ground. 

      Love and hope is scarce in a world like this,
hatred and dread is too abundant to feel any bliss. 

      The shadows lurking Earth these years,
bring civilians to bawling tears. 

      This is what I say will happen,
when the shadows stay.
