"A Girl's Story"

She is always sad like the bullet of a gun
Her family around is always on the run
The music in her room screams her feeling
All her parents are—are hustlers on the street dealing
Tanisha, the depressed intolerant child,
Always has this fierce attitude like an animal in the wild
PA POW is the sound her gun does
A girl aiming at the wrong people is all she ever was
Somebody she begs just to end her life
Before she does it herself with a gun or a knife
This isn’t my life, or my life story,
But I pray for this girl that she finds glory
